Speaker Nov 11 2016
Ron Fyfe introduced Janet Coutts to speak about Ryman Healthcare
Janet started her presentation with an amazing fun video called Shake It Off . She then gave a history lesson on Ryman and a wonderful summary of why 70 year olds need to consider the Ryman option for retirement and care in the future.
Ryman Healthcare is an award winning company. They lead the industry in technology and management. They employ 4000+ staff and keep over 10,000 residents happy.
Happy residents, Happy Staff lead to Happy Shareholders.
Jane Nees thanked Janet for her informative presentation.
First Time Sergeant Larissa Allen
Larissa commented on historic events particularly the Trump Presidency Win and the Irish beating the All Blacks. Both in the USA (?)
She fined her father for all the dad jokes, Greg Brownless for imitating Trump's unkempt hair and Paul just for being an American
She then gave a key history lesson on events for the 9th Nov back to 1938.
Max Mason shared Isaac Asimov as his Parting Thought
"Our assumptions are our window to the world and we need to scrub them down from time to time, or the light won't come in."
