Glen Crowther... Sustainable Bay of Plenty is a chartable Trust to help shape sustainable outcomes through awareness, accountability and action. They work with councils, businesses, community groups, iwi and more.
Glen explained the concept of moving to a circular Economy and Linear v circular.
A few graphs on change in net emissions since 1990. leading onto New Zealand's emissions Targets and how are going to met the 2030 Paris Target. Back to our local Tauranga Transport Challenges gave us a few points to ponder for the future. He sees Tauranga core issue is Unsustainable Growth Agenda which needs reviewing.
Once TCC adopts the City Vision and sustainability framework they need to ask these questions

This is to be held on Tuesday from 6pm for a 7pm start 16th November 2021.
Venue: Rialto cinemas Tauranga City.
Under level 2 not allowed to do cheese and crackers so the price is reduced to $12 pp you can either donate the access to the club or see Les for a refund. Please let him know on the night either way. Rialto has nibbles/ ice cream, wine / beers and non alcoholic drinks which can be purchased on sight.
Bob: Guess who's coming to dinner. A list of possible dates was circulated and names collected Bob is sorting out and advise those interested in the near future.

AGM meeting
AGM meeting is to be held on 19th November 2021. In this meeting new President will be nominated.
Environmental Committee request
This is an appeal for volunteers to help check and refill bait stations along our club bait line in K Valley. There are 37 stations along a loop about 2.5 km long starting at Faulkner St. The task would take about 2 hours and each volunteer would be rostered on once or twice every three months. Looking for a Ham for Christmas this year, order one through Graeme Dingle Foundation. Not only get the best but it will help support the Foundation.
Each New Zealand raised ham is cooked on the bone and is approximately 4.25-4.5kg.
