Notices:
NO VISITORS (where is Antoon?)
Happy 20th Anniversary Tauranga Sunrise. Thanks to founding members- Ian Burns, Sally Morrison, Jane Nees, Mary O'Sullivan, Dean Thomson, Bob Sutton and anyone else we missed.
- Shelter Box sent us a letter of thanks. Shelter box has helped over 60 million people worldwide and our last shelter boxes and housing one family in Cameroon and 2 families in Ecuador.
- Wayne received an invitation from Kawasaka Club to celebrate their 60th Anniversary. Wayne apologised but said he was sending Bill Holland, Ursula Hurn and others to celebrate with them in April.
- The Polio Auction has raised $1980.00 to date and some items are still on TradeMe and under negotiation.
- Eric reminded us that we need speakers for the coming year. Everyone has a story that our members might want to hear. He also asked us to prepare a 2 minute bio that can be presented to the club at any time when a speaker fails to show.
- RYPEN is coming soon. Think of how you want to help
Wayne's Wyrds of Wisdom: When we are no longer able to change a situation… we are challenged to change ourselves.
Sergeant Session with Dan Allen-Gordon:
After he fined nearly everyone there for all kinds of things , he shared some lawyer jokes that just showed that not all lawyers are as smart as those that are members of our club.
Parting Thought from Eric: “Relations are simply a tedious pack of people, who haven't got the remotest knowledge of how to live, nor the smallest instinct about when to die.” Mark Twain
