Sanjana has offered to make a series of videos with current (and past?) members talking about the benefits of being a Rotarian. Noted that people love project-based activities. Capture the ‘why’.
Appoint people to:
· Exit interview those who leave
· Mentor new members
· Revive the induction pack -we already have a leaflet explaining some of the process including fees. Make up a few hard copies of the Sunrise handbook.
Note: a link to this document is on every Bulletin that goes out weekly.
Survey our current members – Kathy will send last ones to Sanjana and work on it to complete very soon.

Andy Cameron tells us that Caesar's last breath (famously a quizzical “Et tu, Brute?”) contained around 25 sextillion (that's 25 followed by 21 zeros) air molecules, which of course have spread around the world - one of you which you might have inhaled. Also included in your next inhalation could be Cleopatra’s perfume, German mustard gas and even particles exhaled by dinosaurs. This all comes from Andy’s favourite book “Caesar’s Last Breath”, which tells the history of the air that we breathe and the science behind Earth’s atmosphere. There was an awful lot of detail, which was difficult to note down but it was something to do with the solar wind, helium alpha particles, carbon dioxide hoovered up by plants and methane from Caesar’s last fart. Strontium 90 got a mention as did Calcium & Mars lack of a molten iron core.
It was a lot of science to digest so early in the morning, but breathe easy: “It's all OK” Andy kindly reassured us in his erudite, avuncular manner. Well, thank goodness for that.
