The Rotary Club of Tauranga Sunrise is a fun-loving and committed group of Rotarians.

The Club was established in 1997 by a group of interested people who wanted to establish a breakfast club.  The original meeting place was at Tauranga Club (prior to its demolition), then the Club moved to Spinnakers at the Bridge Marina for a number of years, before returning to the "new" Tauranga Club where it meets every Friday at 6.45am.

The Club is active in a number of activities including:

  • Collecting for Charities
  • International projects including a long-term project to assist a leprosy clinic in Vietnam
  • Treasured Art - a fundraiser for local charities including the main beneficiary Kiwi Can (part of the Graeme Dingle Foundation)
  • Supporting youth on youth exchange, RYPEN, Science Camps and Outward Bound
  • Shelterbox
  • ROMAC and other Rotary-led international projects
  • End Polio Now fundraising
