2023 President's Message

President Michele Beaton

The Club of Tauranga Sunrise Rotary meets weekly around sunrise because most of us still work. We’re a diverse group professionally, ethnically and age-wise, but all passionate about making the world a better place to live.

In this era of climate crisis, we’ve added environmental projects to our youth, community and international ones. A sustainable approach, socially and economically  as well as environmentally, underlies them all.

To maximise our impact, we believe it’s important that what we do is as visible as possible. Our message is that volunteering in our community is not just an essential service, but also fun and satisfying. We’d like volunteer dependent organisations  in general to benefit, not to mention for Tauranga Sunrise to be welcoming new members in hordes.

Come and check us out for yourself: join us for our breakfast meeting on Friday mornings (7 to 8 am) or have a look at our calendar of events (below) and come along to share our fun and do your bit Creating Hope in the World!
